The modern man has a significant need of energy. Energy is produced using different kinds of resources: water, gas, heat etc. The whole system containing the production, conversion, transmission and distribution of energy is called energy system. Once produced the energy is being delivered trough the electricity grid. One of the main parts of the electricity grid Is the power cable. CABLE - the element of the energy sector used for the transmission and distribution of electrical energy. A power cable is a complex assembly that is designed with several different materials combined together to provide a cable that works perfectly in operation. Each layer of material used in a cable has specific purpose in the design i.e., provide right level of current conductivity, right amount of insulation, right level of protection from mechanical, thermal, environmental conditions. Power cables are used for a wide range of applications in the electrical distribution system such as: Connection between Transformer and switchgear , Connection between Switchgear and individual load , Connection between Generator and transformer , Underground cables for utility distribution network in Urban areas, Submarine cables for transmission purpose, Cables in Ships, Windmills, Buildings

Trajko Simonovski is a cable expert that has devoted his entire life to cable testing, finding more than 1000 cable faults per year in his 42 years career he has solved more than 50 000 cable problems. Trajko – as a retired EVN employee has gained knowledge and expertise through trainings, courses, work experiences and workshops.
